The story of the stylist.

Artisha Nicole Johnson is a Southern California native now living in South Georgia, a wife, mother, fashion creative, stylist, storyteller, and daughter of the late, great, innovative artist Coolio. She began styling more than 15 years ago, long before social media became the running archive of every fitting, shoot, and creative process. What developed over those years was a strong creative instinct and an eye for seeing possibility in clothes that others often did not see. Clients have often been surprised by combinations they never would have thought to put together themselves, and just as surprised to learn what some of those looks actually cost. Artisha's eye has never been dependent on a price tag. Whether working with a luxury piece, a thrifted find, or something already hanging in her own wardrobe or a client's closet, she has always been drawn to the possibility of what a piece could become.

Fashion became one of the ways Artisha understood creativity and expressed who she was, which made the season when she walked away from it all the more significant. After being made to believe that fashion and faith could not exist in the same place, she stopped styling and, over time, stopped creating in many of the ways that had once come naturally to her. Returning to Christ changed the way she understood freedom, identity, creativity, and the gifts she had buried. She realized she did not have to choose between faith and fashion. She could bring all of herself.

That journey became Fashion Formation, where her work now lives at the intersection of personal style, creativity, storytelling, and formation. Because for Artisha, it has always been more than fashion. It is about what happens when the outside begins to reflect the freedom happening within.

JESUS + FASHION GO TOGETHER REAL BAD. THIS IS A SPACE FOR BOTH.
